He was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus at the tender age of seven and received the infilling of the Holy Ghost at the age of twelve.  He attributes his spiritual tutelage to Bishops Louis W. Osborne Sr. and Grace C. Osborne of Portland, Oregon (his father and mother in the gospel), Bishop Louis W. Osborne Jr. of Houston, Texas and Bishop David Eddings Sr. of Phoenix, Arizona.  From a teen upward, Pastor George functioned in the church in Portland in several capacities, primarily in the areas of youth and music ministries.  He was later given the additional responsibility of Minister of Education.  Pastor George also worked for the international organization, the Fellowship of Christian Believers, as National Youth Director and Minister of Music.  He currently serves as an assistant to the Board of Bishops.

Pastor George completed courses in biblical and religious studies through Aenon Bible College and Portland State University.  Through many years of training and development, chastisement and pruning; God has raised up an anointed man with a prophetic utterance to rescue those that perish and care for down-trodden souls.  He is an evangelist and encourager to the Body of Christ.

Pastor George relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1989 and became a member of First Pentecostal Church, of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.  He served there as an associate minister, aiding in the development of ministers and church leaders alike, and in the area of music as the Sanctuary Choir Director.  Pastor George also served for a time as Youth Pastor and Minister of Music at the Apostolic Assembly of Love Church in Houston, TX.

After much prayer and surrender, Pastor George heeded to a higher call on his life, that of the pastorate and on September 28, 2003, New Vision Christian Fellowship opened its doors founded by Pastor George and First Lady Robyn in the city of Gilbert, Arizona.  He serves in full-time ministry as senior pastor. His desire is to see lost souls won to Christ and the character of men and women transformed for Kingdom living.  Since the church’s inception in 2003, two elders have already been commissioned and two churches established.  New Vision is a sanctifying house of worship, a church on the grow!

PASTOR'S CORNER
Make a Wish

The true spirit of giving was demonstrated on last year in a little town just outside of Seattle, Washington.  An eleven year old boy named  Brendan Foster, showed the world what giving really was about.  Brendan was told by his doctors that the illness he suffered was terminal and he had only 2 weeks to live.  The Make a Wish Foundation, an organization that grants last requests to dying children, asked Brendan what he wished for.  Would it be an expensive toy or a trip to Disneyland?  No, Brendan had something else in mind.  While traveling back home from his clinic appointments, Brendan noticed "all these homeless people...I thought I should do something.  They're probably starving.  I want to give them food."  What an unselfish idea.  Here is an eleven year old boy  whose physical health is weakening  by the hour, and his thoughts are on those he sees as less fortunate than he. "I wonder, are there any Brendans here in the Valley of the Sun?"

To make this wish come true it would take help.  When people from his community learned of Brendan's wish, volunteers mobilized and gathered food to make sandwiches to give to the homeless people in that area.  But that's not the end of the story, Brendan's story was picked up by the wire service which caused others to form food drives all over the United States: from Los Angeles, CA to Pensacola, FL.  Within two weeks, tens of thousands of dollars and truckloads of donations were raised and given to the homeless.    However, eleven year old Brendan was not able to see all that his self-less wish accomplished.  Brendan passed away on Friday, November 21, 2008.  This Christmas season, let's stop and think about the plight of those less fortunate than we.  Let's not focus our attention on making a list of things we want to get, but rather let's make a list of things we want to do for somebody else.  John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life!"
